I am trying to find out if anyone has any information about the Brain Balance Center. I have heard that it works to help children w/ADHD, ADD, & Asperger Syndrome, however it is very costly. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Hi. I'm trying to find the 2009 version of "Breakthroughs In Autism", a synopsis of the Defeat Autism Now! protocol where one of Dr. Jang's quotes is supposed to come from... I've looked everywhere and I cannot find this and the phone number on her official site is disconnected! Here is the quote:
“I have put a huge number of patients on these clay baths and the levels of heavy metals – mercury, lead, arsenic, aluminum, and cadmium have come down dramatically… I have been monitoring the levels of metals using all three methods TD DMPS (transdermal dimercapto-propane sulphonate), Oral DMSA (dimercapto-propane sulphonate) and clay baths) and the clay baths are way faster in the removal of metals…One particular patient had very high levels of mercury and levels of lead that were off the charts. In 3 months of twice weekly clay baths, the lead came down dramatically and the mercury disappeared. The muscle weakness associated with high lead levels improved dramatically. Interestingly enough, another 5 months of these clay baths showed even lower levels of lead but the mercury reappeared. This supports the theory that mercury is sequestered in different areas of our body and it takes time to get it all out.”
I want to read this in the context in which it was written.
Aditi Shankardass and Harvard University has been pioneering a new Brain Electrical Activity Mapping in the effective neurological diagnosis of autistic children. Since 2009 they have been using EEG diagnosing technology to find children that have been observed and diagnosed as being autistic, but in fact are having tiny seizures that could not be seen - except with an EEG. It is a pioneering diagnostic approach, but so far they have found an astonishing 50% of the children previously diagnosed / observed as having autism as actually have a very light form of epilepsy. As a parent of child (now a very successful adult) with epilepsy, I know how very treatable epilepsy is. This Brain Mapping technique is yet one more possibility in the search for effective treatment of children who have been diagnosed with Autism, ADD, and other so called behavioral disorders. The video is worth is well worth the 9 minutes. Aditi Shankardass is a scientific researcher, and speaks to this new research so much better than I.
We are parents of 2 children within the autism spectrum. As parents we need to be informed and become our children's best advocates.
